Our 2021 Rosé is crafted from Cabernet Franc grapes. Harvested in mid-October, grapes were destemmed and crushed, then left on the skins overnight before pressing. With its bright acidity, it's mouth-wateringly vibrant, and food friendly. Subtle floral aromas and delicate strawberry flavors make it ideal for pairing with light appetizers and fresh green salads, or pack a bottle in your picnic basket for a day at the lake.

Hand crafted from Cabernet Franc grapes, our semi-dry Rosé has delicate floral aromas with bright strawberry on the palate. Cabernet Franc grapes were hand picked and crushed into the fermentation bin, then soaked for 12 hours on the skins before pressing and left on the lees for 1 week before fermentation was started. This method of producing Rosé is called stabulation, and extracts maximum flavor from the grapes.

So glad that I joined the club to try all the wonderful wines while being in FL. NY wines are outstanding. This Buttonwood Rose was delightful with a crisp Cab/Franc grape. It was shared and enjoyed with light appetizers.

Do not spend a summer without this rose at hand. It drinks easily and has everything you want out of a rose. It satisfies without the cerebral strain of figuring out what it’s trying to say to you.

A bit more dry than anticipated. Much softer on the tongue than so many Pinot based based Rose’ wines. Flavors blend well. Excellent with light pastas, chicken and pork dishes, pretty much anything, so far. A standout sipping wine with cheese, dips and snacks. Be wary of serving too cold or too warm. The flavor is lost with too much chill and drinking warm Rose’ should have criminal penalties. Our neighbors with whom we have deemed worthy of sharing are enthusiastic, even the ones who “only drink red wines”. This is a definite winner. Hold a case back for me.
