Short for Pétillant Naturel, this delightful sparkling wine was handcrafted from Melody grapes harvested on our farm during the 2021 growing season. Creamy notes of buttermilk biscuits, orange zest, and lemongrass on the nose lead to subtle flavors of green tea and candied pineapple. The oldest known method of producing sparkling wine, the Méthode Ancestrale used to create our Pét-Nat dates back to at least the 1500s. Fermented in the bottle and unfiltered, the wine has a lower alcohol content (10%) and will contain sediment. 0.52% RS

8/16/2021 – Will the Pet Nats be released soon and if so when?
Response From Buttonwood Grove Winery: Hi Nahem, thanks for your inquiry. Our next vintage of Riesling Pét-Nat will be produced after the 2021 harvest, so will be available sometime in December or January, most likely. We will make a decision about whether or not to produce a Melody Pét-Nat based on harvest conditions and grape yield. Thanks again for asking!
