Ask a Question
2/7/2020 – Looks and sounds great! Where does this fall on the residual sugar scale?
Thanks
Richard
Response From Buttonwood Grove Winery: Thanks for your question. The official lab reports for the Blanc de Franc have not been returned to us yet, but preliminary testing shows it at around 1.5% residual sugar. The acidity/RS ratio will classify it as a semi-dry wine. Please let us know if you have any more questions!
9/9/2019 – Will you make more of your Blanc de Franc? Love this wine!! When can I come get more?
Response From Buttonwood Grove Winery: Hi Theda, thanks for your inquiry. We love the Blanc de Franc too! It's crafted as an artisan, small batch wine, with only 100 or so cases produced each year. Due to its extreme popularity, it usually sells out within a few months. The next vintage (2019) is still on the vines, and will be harvested in October and released sometime next spring. We usually bottle this wine in April or May. Thanks again for asking, and you can follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter to make sure you don't miss its release date!
7/4/2018 – Should this wine be drank cold, like a white, or room temperature, like a red?
Response From Buttonwood Grove Winery: Great question! Although it's made from 100% Cab Franc grapes, we recommend serving it like a Rosé. We like it chilled to about 46 degrees F. Enjoy!
